    September 26, 2012 | Posted by Ed .

Looking for a ballast with more versatility? Tired of having to switch your lamp every time you want to increase or decrease light output? Then you need the Adjusta Watt Premium Switchable Ballast.

The Adjusta Watt Premium Switchable Ballast is a magnetic ballast that works with both Metal Halide and High Pressure Sodium lamps, and can be run on either 120v or 240V.  It's made with premium parts and components, such as aluminum housing that is specially designed to dissipate heat and keep components cool, and a top of the line Aerovox capacitor.

In addition to these features it can all also be used with four different lamp wattages: 650W, 850W, 1000W and 1100W. Wattages can be adjusted by simply following these three easy steps:

    • Before adjusting watt output ensure the ballast is unplugged.
    • Turn the dial until it is pointing at the desired wattage. You should hear a “click” when the dial is properly in place.
    • Plug the ballast in and start growing!

Note: This ballast will only work with 1000W lamps. Adjusting the wattage will only increase or decrease the intensity of the light the lamp produces.

  • How to Use The Bowl

    September 14, 2012 | Posted by Ed .

The Bowl is a leaf trimmer that can be used for the removal of excess leaves and twigs, the preparation of plants for essential oils, or the mixture of flower petals for potpourris. The extra sharp blade makes clean, quality cuts that minimize damage done to the plants and helps reduce mess. Made with the highest quality medical grade stainless steel and food grade rubber, the simple design makes The Bowl extremely durable and highly effective.

Read the directions below to learn how to use this exciting new product.

    1. Remove the clear plastic lid.
    2. Remove all the flowers from the stems and place them on the grill. Make sure you have enough material to cover the surface of the grill (you will need approximately 40 grams of vegetation material to cover the surface of the grill).
    3. Secure the clear plastic lid to the catch basin and ensure it is attached properly.
    4. Begin to turn the hand crank. When the hand crank is in action, the combination of the rubber fingers and powerful blades will perfectly manicure the flowers while neatly collecting leaf and stem trimmings in the catch basin below. You will need to make 15 to 20 complete movements to manicure your flowers correctly.
    5. Remove the clear plastic lid and collect your manicured flowers.
